And I love the texture of pottery that has been underground for so long. It's amazing what time does to an object. It's like having a rough stone in your hand instead of a polished sign or, in this case, a flower pot.” The flower pot has a flat back with holes in it so that it can easily be hung on the wall. The pot has a rough bottom, but a polished top that is richly decorated with a Delft blue blossom that seems to crawl out of the flower pot. The pot has a playful convex shape at the front, giving the plant enough space to grow, but the pot itself also remains clearly visible and is therefore a nice decorative object for the home.
